WINERY INFORMATION Located at the foothills west of the town of Rutherglen in north-east Victoria the Campbells continue to adhere to a tradition of crafting premium wines since 1870 For five generations their commitment and dedication has been focused on producing world-class wines This winemaing family has helped establish Rutherglen rsquo s reputation as the world rsquo s most prominent region for fortified wines Malcolm the Head Viticulturist is a fourth-generation Campbell whose wine philosophy is simple Quality at the expense of quantity is our aim TASTING NOTES This sweet luscious complex and elegant wine is crafted from grapes grown in the Rutherglen region It is a deep brilliant gold coloured wine which was effectively blended for full flavour and delicate balance Ideally it should be consumed soon after opening The nose is greeted with toffee and tea leaf characters which combine to display the distinct characters of Rutherglen Tokay The same juicy characters prevail on the front palate with a refreshing tinge of spirit and old oak on the smooth finish This graceful wine goes well with a range of desserts and some flavoured cheeses Many however fully appreciate this fine wine when served as an after-dinner delight nbsp
