It’s astounding to think that The House of Henriot has been in the same family for over 200 years. Their demanding standards, like their champagne, remain the same consistently from year to year, century after century. Mostly drawing from Premier Cru and Grand Cru villages, the chardonnay-domnant champagne is precise and elegant. Surprising. Extraordinary. A symbol of the precise, elegant style of Champagne Henriot’s wines, Brut Souverain appeals with its nose of white flower and citrus fruit notes, then with a elegant, harmonious palate. An ideal aperitif. Made up of a balanced proportion of Chardonnay, the majority from the Côte des Blancs, and Pinot Noir, mostly from the Montagne de Reims. Around 8% Pinot Meunier adds a delicate fruity note.
