Pommery is one of France's most renowned Champagne houses. Established in 1836, Madame Pommery is credited with creating the first vintage ‘brut' style of Champagne in 1874, at a time when most Champagnes were excessively sweetened with sugar. The Brut Royal is elegant and lively with small asertive notes of red fruits. A rounded, rich, delicate wine that lingers in the mouth. The blend is a third between Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier for balance and complexity. It makes a great accompaniment to seafood mollusks, such as oysters, mussels or clams. Drinks best with that special loved one.
