WINERY INFORMATION Bimbadgen rsquo s first vineyard was planted in 1968 on Palmers Lane which includes nearly 11ha under vines Winemaker Richard Done ensures that the distinctive characteristics of each vineyard and grapes are retained to produce the Single Vineyard range General Manager Adam Moris supervises all functions of the winery starting from production to marketing Adam joined the company in January 2013 as Commercial Manager He was promoted to the role of General Manager in 2015 TASTING NOTES The premium fruit used to produce Single Vineyard Chardonnay was harvested from the company rsquo s McDonalds Road Vineyards and then crushed The juice obtained so was settled and then transferred to a combination of new and old French oak barriques and puncheons Post-maturation in French oak for eight months the wine flaunts a pale lemon colour with a lime haze A swirl of the glass offers fresh melon and white peach aromas The delicate palate packs lime and melon flavours coupled with light oak hints to end the wine in a lingering finish This fantastic Chardonnay from Bimbadgen Wines can be cellared for 5 or more years It can be enjoyed with lemon and rosemary chicken turkey sandwiches and pan fried snapper nbsp
