WINERY INFORMATION Established in 1873 by David Herd - the founding winemaker of Marlborough Auntsfield Estate is a family owned wine company producing an exquisite range of fragrant and full flavoured wines The estate is currently managed by the Cowley brothers - Ben and Luc nbsp As winemaker f the company Luc aims at creating an exciting collection of wines that showcase the unique terroir characteristics of the estate nbsp TASTING NOTES This wonderful Single Vineyard Chardonnay shows a rich straw gold hue The complex bouquet flaunts floral scents of orange peel and apricot with light suggestions of nougat and dried spice following close behind The palate is tight and structured filled with stone fruit flavours of dried apricot and nectarine supported by macadamia and French oak hints Flinty mineral undertones integrate with these aromas and flavours to culminate the wine in a lengthy and seamless finale This beautiful Chardonnay from Auntsfield tastes amazing with foods like creamy vegetable soups grilled fish and risotto with spring vegetables nbsp
