The intention is to make a brighter and richer style of red with a more modern feel than the 'classic' Chianti frm. Here it has made for a genuinely attractive red that couples savoury Sangiovese earthy goodness with that extra juiciness of the French Cabernet Merlot and Syrah interlopers. Attractive wine indeed.
