Along with Wolfberger Pinot Gris we couldn't ignore the other classic Alsatian white.Their Riesling is marked by an intense nose of fresh lemons, apricots with a touch of minerality. Refreshing, yet racy on the mouth, this is a wine with lovely fruit flavours and a long finish. It's unlike what you'e come to expect from Australian Rieslings with a touch of residual sweetness on the finish making it perfect with shellfish and sushi, roasted poultry or fresh goat cheese. Best of all the Wolfberger wines have been bottled under screw cap for maximum freshness, unlike most of the whites coming out of Alsace.
