WINERY INFORMATION A T Richardson Wines produces an outstanding range of elegantly styled and approachable wines crafted by internationally acclaimed winemaker Adam Richardson It is located in the historic Grampians wine region in Victoria After a 10 year long search Adam finally chose the HardHill Road vineyard site for producing his labels ndash Chockstone and Hard Hill Road nbsp TASTING NOTES The grapes used to craft Chockstone Riesling were harvested and pressed and the juice obtained was subjected to cold fermentation with minimal intervention The resulting wine shows a pale straw colour with green yellow hues The fragrant bouquet is perfumed with lively aromas of wildflowers and citrus blossoms while the lush and dense palate is rife with juicy flavours of kiwi guava and pear Balanced by an elegant minerality and vibrant natural acidity the residual sweetness leads to a firm dry and flinty finish With a cellaring potential of 5 years this wonderful Riesling can also be relished fresh and young upon release Pair it with raw oysters or fresh seafood to enjoy a real treat nbsp nbsp
