The history of grape growing in Barossa dates back to the 1840’s. Since this time the local community has existed for wine. With each vintage that passes and with every generation that succeeds their forbearers, a more ntimate relationship with the land evolves. This evolution helps to unearth plots of sacred ground that hold something special. Such is the case with the Fromm vineyard. Fourth generation Barossa grower, Ryan Fromm, lovingly tends this special plot near the township of Williamstown in the southern part of the Barossa Valley. In successive tastings over many vintages, this block has earned the acknowledgement of ‘Sacred Ground’ for its richness, depth and complexity.
