WINERY INFORMATION The Swift family acquired a 500 farming property in 1978 In 1996 second-generation family members Jim and Ruth planted the property with 12ha of grapevines This laid down the foundation of Printhie Wines one of the leading wineries of the region today Owners Ed and Dave too over the role of managing the family wine business in the early-2000s Founders Ruth and Jim supervise the overall functions of the company as Special Project Managers nbsp nbsp TASTING NOTES The premium grapes used to produce Super Duper Syrah were harvested destemmed and then crushed followed by fermentation in small bins The juice was then pressed accompanied by malolactic fermentation in barrel This process led to the creation of a deep purple-hued wine presenting a dark rim The fragrant nose exudes intense pepper spice and strong floral scents making way for a rich and structured palate These vibrant aromas and flavours are supported by supple tannins and fresh acidity ending the wine in a delicious and lingering finish Drink this mouth-watering Syrah with pizza pot pie Moroccan vegetable stew and bratwurst sausage nbsp
