WINERY INFORMATION The Nugan Group is a third generation family business founded by Alfredo Nugan Alfredo moved from Spain to Griffith in 1940 and started a small scale fruit and vegetable packing business Nugan Estate covers around 590 hectares of vineyards across some of the most reputed wineregions in Australia It is currently operated by Michelle Tiffany and Matthew Nugan nbsp TASTING NOTES The grapes used to craft Uprising Shiraz Rose were picked in the cool of night crushed and then cold soaked before pressing The juice was slow fermented in stainless steel tanks The resulting wine features a pink blush Lifted aromas of strawberry and raspberry combine with rose petal hints to enhance the perfumed bouquet Luscious flavours of strawberry and Morello cherry lead the refreshing palate to a crisp and lively finale Made for consumption upon release this stunning Shiraz Rose tastes great as an aperitif or with charcuterie pate and seafood platter nbsp
