WINERY INFORMATION McWilliam rsquo s Wines had humble beginnings over 140 years ago in 1877 when founder Samuel McWilliam planted his very first vines on the banks of the Murray River Since then the family-owned and operated winery has continued to grow in both statures as well as size Familyambassador and sixth generation winemaker Scott McWilliam believes that the Aussie wine industry will provide wine drinkers with a tailored experience in times to come TASTING NOTES The luscious grapes used to create McW 480 Sauvignon Blanc were picked and then gently pressed This led to the creation of a pale straw coloured wine showing light green tints A whiff of the wine exhibits intense aromas of grapefruit and passionfruit with a gentle touch of herbaceous tones These fragrances are reflected on the dense palate where exotic tropical fruit flavours join them Lively acidity integrates with subtle fruit sweetness ending the wine with a delicate finish marked by mineral nuances This enticing white wine has been crafted to be relished upon release tasting great with goat cheese salad oysters and fresh peas nbsp nbsp
