WINERY INFORMATION With the first vine plantation taking place in 1989 Grampians Estate Wine Company came into existence in 1994 The Grampians Estate vineyards are spread across 3 2 hectares and mainly incorporates Shiraz and Chardonnay grapes The business is currently owned by Tom and Sarah Gutrie TASTING NOTES Grampians Estate Kelly rsquo s Welcome Blanc de Blanc is a red coloured wine created in the lsquo Methode Traditionelle rsquo style A 100 Chardonnay wine from the Mafeking vineyard it opens with aromas of berries as well as beautiful yeasty notes The palate is beautifully creamy owing to 8 years of lees ageing and goes on to depict peach and apple flavours The wine offers excellent length as well as balanced acidity This dazzling sparkling wine pairs well with pork salmon and tuna
