WINERY INFORMATION Kim and Mark Longbottom founded Henry s Drive Vignerons They planted their first vines on the Longbottom family property in 1992 nbsp Six years later they released their first wines The estate rsquo s vineyard covers 250-acre of vines planted with Merlot Shiraz Chardonnay nd Cabernet Sauvignon grapes The company rsquo s cellar door is located on Hodgson Road in Padthaway South Australia TASTING NOTES The grapes used for crafting The Postmistress Blanc de Blanc were harvested at night and then slow fermented in a tank The juice was then left on yeast lees before secondary fermentation was carried out The resulting wine presents a light straw colour with fine bubbles stemming from the glass The attractive bouquet exudes lively scents of citrus apple blossom and shortcrust pastry A sip of the wine offers juicy flavours of pear baked apple and preserved lemon These great characters culminate in a satisfying finale Drink this delightful Blanc de Blanc from Henry s Drive Vignerons with roasted crab grilled asparagus or Stilton cheese nbsp nbsp
