WINERY INFORMATION The Fuder barrel programme was started by the Giesen brothers in 2011 after the success of The August lsquo Barrel Fermented rsquo Sauvignon Blanc Crafted by a team of three accomplished winemakers - Andrew Blake Anna Kingscote and Hamish Kempthorne The Fuder is an eleganty styled and exquisite range that aptly reflects the expressive and highly concentrated fruit flavours of the Marlborough region nbsp TASTING NOTES The Fuder Matthews Lane Sauvignon Blanc displays a pale straw colour with light green hues highlighting its edges The perfumed bouquet exudes scents of thyme dry grass and sweet ripe fruits These complex Sauvignon Blanc characters integrate with the soft and up-front palate providing a creamy texture as well as a gentle yet lingering finale This wonderful white wine has been crafted to be relished after a cellaring term of 5 years tasting excellent with white fish fresh salads and risotto nbsp
