And is there anything better than a VERY highly-pointed expression of this with nine years of age that’s the flagship wine for an iconic producer? Okay, okay...both are rhetorical questions ofcourse. Ultimately, we’ve got one of the best examples out there of this classic style. Even after nine years, it’s still big and explosive, rich and dense, and full of dark, dark fruit. There’s also chocolate, a nice line of oak and some interwoven tannin that is quite apparent. So yes, you can drink this now and enjoy the power, or you can lay this down for multiple decades and let it continue to develop.
