This is a new producer for us here at the ‘Fo, but one we’ve had our eyes on for a while. They’re a bit under the radar, but we’d guess they won’t be for much longer with a wine like this one. It’s WA cabernet as you mostly know it, but there’s so muchlurking beneath the surface. To no one’s surprise, you’ll find the usual blackcurrant, eucalypt and mint. Give it a few minutes though. Here comes licorice, chocolate, rhubarb and coffee. Very layered, very complex, very satisfying.
