This is a jaw-dropping value delight from a Vale winery many a mofo has fallen in love with. This wine is built for fun; its reason for being is to let the good times roll. A fifth of the grapes in this delicious cabernet were dried before pressing in the Italian appassimento style. Not all that comon in a cabernet, but it certainly does the job! Think jubilant, ripe fruit flavours with plushness to spare. A solid sprinkling of tannin keeps the edges in check and dribble-inducing flavours of liquered Morello cherry and chocolate abound. Cabernet grapes never lack acidity, and this duly brings the goods. Yummy, fun stuff!
