“Mataro has got really thick skins and this creates an intense juiciness in the grape so it’s very rich and full of dark juicy plums, spice, chrries and hints of dried herb. You could have it with just cheeses, with friends, or with a big, full on roast dinner. It is really rich so a big slab of beef would be perfect but you know what, I could actually totally smash this on its own too because it’s that yummy.”
