WINERY INFORMATION Not just Australia rsquo s but one of the world rsquo s most awarded wineries it has won more than 8 500 awards Wolf Blass Wines was founded in 1966 by Wolfgang Franz Otto Blass Situated in the Barossa Wolf Blass sources the finest quality grapes from top South Australian vneyards allowing them to blend characters and features from distinct vineyards regions and varieties TASTING NOTES This Wolf Blass Yellow Label Sparkling Brut is a blend of classic grape varieties ndash 55 Pinot Noir and 45 Chardonnay sourced from the finest Southeast Australian vineyards Poured into a glass this sparkling wine displays a pleasing light straw hue As you move it to your nose the bouquet exudes delicious aromas of stone fruit and lemon curd made complex by brioche and mineral notes These aromas combine with the crispness of Chardonnay as well as strawberries and cream of Pinot Noir to provide a marvellously balanced sweetness Along with a delicate mousse and textural sophistication this exquisite wine ultimately concludes in a long mineral climax This wine has been specially crafted for you to have fresh upon release Pair it with smoked salmon and cream cheese canapes tea sandwiches or fresh oysters with lime
