WINERY INFORMATION Angus The Bull was launched with a simple philosophy in mind ndash to create unique wines that provide an ideal accompaniment to prime beef Winemaker Hamish MacGowan creator of Angus The Bull established the Aberdeen Wine Company in 2003 in Manly NSW to convert his vision ad ideas into reality TASTING NOTES Wee Angus Cabernet Merlot is a blend of 5 Cabernet Franc grapes with 55 Cabernet Sauvignon and 40 Merlot grapes It displays bright purple hues Fine and smooth tannins fuse with black fruit and vanillin oak notes to end the wine in a delicate and lingering finish This elegant red wine can be cellared for period of 4 years from vintage and tastes marvellous with barbeque roasted capsicum risotto mushroom and beef dishes
