This Chardonnay from the Awakening range has been produced using hand-picked fruit from the Watershed estate vineyard. 100% barrel fermentation in New and 1 year old selected French oak barriques with the use of wild yeast has produced a wine with great complexity. The wine exhibits intense citrus aomas accompanied with notes of spice and roasted cashew nuts. On the palate, the dense creamy texture is complemented by grapefruit notes, followed by a long spicy and biscuit finish.
