Now in its 3rd generation, the winery’s base on clay and limestone soils in the region seem perfect for flourishing aromatic varietals such as this. It’s all about the nuance, baby. There’s plenty of it here, wit a plentiful nose of citrus, kiwifruit and passionfruit. You’d be forgiven if you think that’s all you’re going to get at this price, but the palate leaps into action with complex chalky, mineral edges that accentuate the green pepper and asparagus. Light, fresh and every-day appropriate.
