A classic example of chardonnay from the Martinborough Terrace, this chardonnay shows ripe aromas of white nectarine and peach with hints of butterscotch and oats. The stone-fruit characters continue on the palate with a creamy texture and a lingering finishAromas of tropical fruit intertwine with ntes of citrus, toast and popcorn that bring to mind the characteristics of great Chardonnay. Careful use of new oak has created a wine that is finely grained and focused, yet shows power, depth of flavour and a lovely mineral core.
