WINERY INFORMATION Winemaking The growing season produced stunning fruit which made some of our best wines ever Harvest was early due to a warm spring and a very dry ripening season with no disease pressure producing fruit with extraordinary aromatics and deep flavours when tasted on the vine befre harvesting in comparison to previous years As the fruit flavours were almost exotic dominated with an array of cherry and cranberry nbsp notes we decided to be a little adventurous and ferment the wine in old French oak barrels nbsp which preserves the fruit but adds a further level of structure and depth to the wine TASTING NOTES Plenty of cherry fruits raspberries and strawberries with a mix of cinnamon white peppered peeled tomatoes skins notes coming off the top nbsp Plenty of flavour and thoroughly refreshing Serve with nbsp antipasto smoked salmon or a Creek salad
