WINERY INFORMATION Vineyard Trout Valley Wines are from Nelson New Zealand The region includes three National Parks the largest being Kahurangi known for its great natural beauty and is home to some of the finest Brown trout fishing water in the world Winemaking A cold December and dry Summr resulted in poor flowering and low yields throughout the Nelson region however the region had excellent growing conditions through January onwards leading to an early start to harvest This 2015 harvest with low yields has resulted in excellent wines displaying high fruit concentration elegance vibrancy and purity TASTING NOTES A lovely herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc displaying classic cool-climate tropical flavours amp a lively well balanced fruit full finish Vibrant tropical fruit Fresh amp crisp with lively tropical notes Drink young and fresh or through to 2017 Serve chilled with fresh oysters new season rsquo s asparagus or summer salads
