Tiki Estate Single Vineyard Pinot Noir

We’ve been importing the wines of Tiki for a few years now. They are produced by an absolutely lovely family that’s based in Waipara in Canterbury, New Zealand. They’ve named their brand in honour of their ancestor, a great chieftain called Tiki Tere Mihi. This is the first single vineyard pint noir we’ve stocked and it’s an absolute gem. The colour is quite deep and dark for pinot and the nose shows spice, dark cherry, mushrooms and a touch of oak. The silky palate continues this expression, finishing with a bit of firm tannin and great length. A great wine from a great family.
