We could talk about it being a Gold Medal winner and about it being from red wine heaven - Barossa, but the real winning element of this superb wine is, well. the wine itself. It's textured, with dark plum, blackberry and cherry upfront but with a savoury backbone, supported by a swathe of exotic spce, licorice, dried flowers, white pepper, dark chocolate, tobacco and earthiness. It's a mouthful, in both senses of the word.
