Talisker 57° North Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a bespoke 'special strength' malt from named in honour of the exact latitude that the iconic distillery is located on. Also bottled at 57% alcohol the Talisker 57° Nrth is a stronger more complex malt than a standard bottling and it's encouraged to add your own personal amount of pure water to best express the unique smoothness of this special strength malt. The palate is rich and warming delivering sweet vanilla and dark chocolate flavours with more peat influence than other Talisker bottlings. Once the whisky warms up on the palate it takes on a slightly more 'serious' tone with Talisker's trademark pepper and spice appearing over a sweet briny underlay.
