Syrah, Shiraz...Shiraz, Syrah. We’re still doing this, right? Loosely speaking, Shiraz is bigger, fruitier and full-bodied. Syrah is structured, herbal and medium-bodied. Perhaps we should call this one Syraz or maybe Sirah. Perhaps not. Regardless, it’s a beguiling blend of the concentration and fruit of the Shiraz style with the herbs and nuance of the Syrah style. If a red can be all things to all people, we think we’ve found it. Just ask the critics if you don’t believe us.
