WINERY INFORMATIONVineyardSoumah s iconic duck egg blue label has become synonymous with Yarra Valley quality They produce small amounts of high-quality Yarra Valley staple varieties including Pinot Noir Chardonnay and Syrah but one of their more interesting preoccupations is with the muc talked about Savagnin grape As they continue to push the envelope of their winemaking capabilities and drill down into the nuance to be found in clonal selection they are steadily raising their standing amongst the best producers in the Region TASTING NOTESBrimming with dark brooding fruit The nose flows in waves from cherry to strawberry earth and mushroom to lavender and musk It s pretty yet architectural with a definition to the tannins which keep you in line ready to be steamrolled the perfectly ripe fruit that runs riot in the mouth Awesome stuff
