What a rare treat it is to have a mature Eden Valley Riesling like this! As much as we love young, vibrant wines, you just can't beat the complexity that comes with a few years maturation, and now after a decade in the cool winery cellar, this Riesling is in its mature prime. Sourced from the 0-year-old, low-cropping Jellicoe vineyard that sits at 475m above sea level, it's a classic Eden Valley Riesling with low alcohol and sprightly acidity. We think this would have been a steely wine in its youth, but now it has put on some weight and looks delightful, with lovely toasty richness alongside the classic limey purity.
