The first thing you notice is the brilliant clarity of colour not pale but vibrant It rsquo s made with Sangiovese and is laden with a cherried earthiness some apple and satsuma plum perhaps a hint of undergrowth the palate is really savoury with burst of cranberry and redcurrant some grippy annins sharp acids before an unfeasibly dry finish It screams out for food
