Single Vineyard Mystery Shiraz

Elegant, powerful and deeply expressive From a single vineyard in the Barossa Valley, this Shiraz reflects both the warmth of the season and the skill of traditional winemaking. Made in small quantities from low-yield vines, it captures the essence of Barossa fruit with rich depth, refined structureand a lasting sense of place. Tasting Notes Deep garnet in colour with ruby highlights. The nose shows ripe aromas of black cherry, plum and mulberry with subtle hints of pepper and cedar. The palate is full-bodied and complex, layered with dark fruits, cocoa and a touch of liquorice, all balanced by silky tannins and gentle oak spice. The finish is long and elegant with notes of blackberry and fine oak. Vintage The 2019 vintage in South Australia was warm and dry, producing low yields of exceptional fruit concentration. The season created Shiraz of power and precision, with smaller berries offering richness, intensity and perfectly balanced tannins. Winemaking Hand-picked fruit from a premium single vineyard was fermented in small open fermenters to ensure maximum flavour extraction. The wine was matured in a blend of French and American oak, adding spice and texture while preserving the purity of the fruit. Careful craftsmanship and minimal intervention have created a wine that speaks clearly of its origin. Food Pairing A natural companion for roast beef, slow-cooked lamb shoulder or venison pie. It also pairs beautifully with aged cheeses or a rich mushroom risotto for an elegant finish to any meal.
