I’d buy this for the label alone, but luckily the wine lives up to the beautiful label. It’s not big or powerful, rather a very self-assurd wine set to please. Pemberton’s a very cool region, in style, terrain and climate. It’s about the size of Margaret River, but further east, a little bit inland, and about 100-200m above sea level, as well as being home to some beautiful Karri forests. Also home to this chardonnay.
