The Davey estate vineyard was planted in the early 1990's by Kym & John Davey on land farmed by their Grandfather since 1950's. The Davey family members aren't just great winemakers; they are aficionados of fine food and wine. Blackberry and strawberry primary aromas are highlighted with notes of chcolate and a twist of white pepper. The cassis fruit of the medium - full palate is focused into the long finish by satiny tannins and subtle roasted cashew-like oak.
