We really identify with the Ropiteau winery, having been founded by two young, wide-eyed brothers-in-law who saw the 1848 arrival of the railway in Burgundy as a way to bring wine to the people! Well, maybe not that middle part, but the rest is basically us. Which means they must be (cough) f*cking wesome (cough). And I am pleased to confirm that on the chardonnay-making front, the Ropiteau team absolutely live up to the ‘Fo expectations.
