WINERY INFORMATION Vineyard In less than a decade the Oatley family rsquo s Wild Oats range of contemporary wines has enjoyed remark able success ndash winning multiple awards critical acclaim widespread distribution and a multitude of fans Australia-wide Winemaking Individual parcels were old soak ed for 2-3 days fermented at moderate temperatures and gently ex trac ted for 10-14 days prior to pressing then matured for 12 months prior to blending and bottling French oak plays a supportive role to the wine rsquo s generous ripe dark fruits TASTING NOTES A supple rounded Shiraz with appealing plummy fruits and a touch of spice produced from Oatley family vineyards at Mudgee Will prove a fine par tner to richer flavoured red meat dishes
