WINERY INFORMATION Robert Oatley Vineyards founded and owned by the Oatley winemaking family is a revered and respected wine company of Australia Situated in the Mudgee region of New South Wales their cellar door was constructed in the year 1858 Chain of Fire is the experts rsquo term for a sries of extinct volcanoes after which their exquisite range of wines was named TASTING NOTES Chain of Fire Pinot Noir is an elegant red wine crated using grapes sourced from lush and premium vineyards in South Eastern Australia This fruit was harvested at optimum ripeness and cold fermented on skins The resulting Pinot has a deep red-violet hue This vibrant wine shows marvellous plum and cherry fruit characters on the aromatic bouquet as well as the juicy palate providing a dry mouthfeel and culminating in a persistent and fruit-forward finish It pairs well with roasted chicken pasta and game meats
