I have to admit, Rhythm Stick are new to me, but Ron and Jeanette Ely seem to have been making the good stuff in Clare Valley for some time now. Long-time growers, they started fermenting their own grapes in 2009. Last year, Halliday said of this 2015 release that itââââ¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ll “capture the quality that its ’09 Reserve sibling is showing now”. The same sibling he re-rated from 94 to 95 after tasting it six years on. Bodes well for this little number, then. Decanter rated it third out of 133 Aussie rieslings they tasted just last month.
