WINERY INFORMATION Alfredo and Katrina Pizzini launched their first wines under the Pizzini label in 1994 Located in a convertedtobacco drying kiln on King Valley Road the Pizzini cellar door has been offering premium Italian wines to friends and visitors since 1996 The new cellar door was builtin 2009 to incorporate A tavola ndash a cooking school run by Katrina nbsp TASTING NOTES The pretty brick red coloured Pizzini Coronamento Nebbiolo exudes bright orange hues Lush aromas of red liquorice red plums toasted hazelnuts saffron and exotic spices coupled with subtle leather and earthy characters flow from its fragrant bouquet These scents effortlessly shift to the powerful and graceful palate to provide ripe red cherry flavours as well as firm and supple tannins ending in a long lasting balanced and juicy finish This elegant red wine tastes great with roast turkey braised pork shank wild mushrooms and butternut squash nbsp
