This is not your average gris - it’s not often you’ll find so much love go into this grape, and we’re in awe of what our producer is doing here. Although we can’t tell you who made it, we can tell you that the winemaker is a trailblazer in the industry- and their white wines have been known n the Yarra for their stylish touch. There’s a portion of fruit from the Upper Yarra, picked ripe for texture and weight. The bulk of the fruit though comes from Lower Yarra, picked a little younger to ensure there was fresh acidity. Finally, in true Italian style, some of the fruit spent excess time on skins to amp up the volume a few notches. Drinking this will make you feel like you’re amongst the orchard trees. Red apple, bruised pears and mandarins shine, while the bold texture stimulates the senses. You’ll never look at gris the same again.
