A long-standing favourite variety in Bordeaux, malbec does particularly well in Coonawarra. The Petaluma Project Company Malbec is a ripe-fruited, finely structured, spicy dry red with smooth, abundant and rich tannins. The Project Co is Petaluma's outlet for innovation beyond its core stable of cabrnet from Coonawarra, chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills and riesling from the Clare Valley. The range showcases alternative varieties that you might not be so familiar with, and the different production techniques that go along with them.
