A finalist in last year’s Best Of Awards, this King Valley sparkling blew us away again with its remarkable consistency. Having spent an incredible five years on lees, the wine displays pristine lemon and apple flavours. We declare this a vintage of precision and stamina.'Apparently when Brow Brothers decided to create a premium range named after their Grandmother, the esteemed matriarch herself declared well it had better be bloody good! Needless to say, it certainly is. Based on techniques observed at Champagne Bollinger, this superbly complex, rich, nutty, biscuity wine must rank among Australia's best and is world class. Extended yeast lees ageing in bottle has added a depth and subtlety that I find breathtakingly delicious.
