WINERY INFORMATION Managed by Steve and Sharlene Dadd Optimiste Wines is a family-owned boutique winery producing single vineyard handcrafted wines After supplying their premium harvests to reputed wineries of the region for almost a decade the owners decided to launch their own wine brand Thecompany rsquo s vineyard was first planted in 1998 on the slopes near Mudgee NSW and is presently managed by renowned viticulture expert Paul Baguley TASTING NOTES This beautiful Shiraz from Optimiste Wines flaunts a deep purple red hue The fragrant nose exhibits savoury aromas of liquorice blackcurrant and spice A sip of the wine reveals savoury and spicy red berry flavours owing to the addition of Viognier grapes during fermentation Firm tannins integrate with these characters to offer a soft and structured finish Crafted to be enjoyed fresh upon release this wonderful Shiraz can also be cellared for five years It is a great food accompaniment to Asian greens and roast duck nbsp
