A rather serious, and seriously enjoyable Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir. Aromatic with a textured palate, quite full bodied for Pinot, full of savoury cherry and raspberry fruit plus eucalypt and pencil shavings oak. Rich and ripe, this is quite a big Pinot. There are lashings of fruit, nice oak and goo intensity. Serve this wine with a confit of duck on a bed of braised red cabbage and some creamy mash - a winter Pinot friendly dish and a perfect match to this wine. Not for the faint hearted.
