WINERY INFORMATION Nautilus Estate is a family operated winery that consists of a small team of experienced winemakers and viticulturists so that everybody is involved in the winemaking process from beginning to end Clive Jones Winemaker at Nautilus joined the company in 1998 and has been craftig delicious and appreciation-worthy New Zealand wines for more than 2 decades now TASTING NOTES Carefully handpicked the grapes used to produce this wine were chilled pressed and moved to barrel for French oak fermentation using indigenous yeast Nautilus Estate Chardonnay 2014 is a pale straw wine that exhibits white peach citrus blossom and toasted almond scents from its luscious nose The integrated and complex palate profile is full of juicy fruit flavours which combined with the creamy texture and tight mineral structure lead to a lengthy and refreshing finale This Marlborough region Chardonnay has a cellaring potential of 3 to 5 years and tastes wonderful with crisp prosciutto pinole pine nuts sage and nut brown butter
