These vines, now more than a century old, are situated on Mount Pleasant's historic hillside vineyards. The 2000 Maurice O'Shea Shiraz is richly flavoured with sweet red and blackberry fruit, spicy oak which supports a smooth and rounded chocolate fruit tannin finish. The 2000 vintage is a quintessetial Hunter Valley Shiraz. Grapes are handpicked from 100+ year old vines which were planted by Maurice O'Shea. It was these vines where Maurice O'Shea created his famous red wines of the 1920s, '30s
