WINERY INFORMATION The Morlet vineyard is a small boutique vineyard located in Cowaramup in the Margaret River region The winemaking team at Morlet Wines headed by winemaker Dylan Arvidson produces a premium range of sophisticated and hand crafted wines which are recognized as some of the most dlicious and desirable wines from Margaret River TASTING NOTES The fruits used to craft Morlet Chardonnay were matured in new French oak barrels for 6 months post cold fermentation resulting in a pale straw and green hued wine The perfumed bouquet exhibits light fruit aromas which intermix with white peach and tropical fruit undertones on the palate These flavours are further balanced by a good acidity ending the wine in a lengthy and captivating finish This elegant white wine can be cellared for some time to develop complex fruit characters It tastes wonderful with raw or lightly cooked shellfish creamy vegetable soups and pasta dishes nbsp
