WINERY INFORMATION Managed by Andrew Phillip and Stephen Jones Monument Vineyard is located in the Orange wine region Established in 2009 the brand released its first vintages of Verdelho Cabernet Sauvignon and Nebbiolo varietals in 2011 under the Monument Vineyard label All wines at Monumen Vineyard are crafted by winemaker duo - Chris Derrez and Lucy Maddox Together they have explored the possibilities of lesser-known grape varieties such as Roussanne Marsanne Barbera and Sangiovese TASTING NOTES Monument Vineyard 3 Pistols Fortified is one of a kind Showing a beautiful amber colour in the glass this fortified wine presents aged complexity on the nose as well as palate The dense palate boasts of toffee and fruit cake characters This rich and award-winning wine from Central Ranges tastes best when served with dark chocolate and mature cheese
